President Peggy Smith kicked off our meeting today with a lot of excitement dancing and getting us awake at 7:15am.
Richard Diradourian our club Jester gave us a good laugh this morning, you had to be here to listen to it, or just ask him about his $120 vet joke.

- Was joyful for a great turnout for the summer mixer we had this past Thursday 08/09 at the Montrose Town Grill. We had a few laughs, pizza's and a few drinks.... Next Mixer will be at the Oak and Vine next month in Downtown Glendale.

- Updating us on our future Youth projects. Coats for kids possibly in October, trying to secure dates with the Salvation Army. We will have 2 weeks of collections at the GUSD schools.

- Join us at the Kellers Residence on Aug 22nd to built the boat that Lynn Chen and Sharon Townsend will ride to victory at the District picnic.
- Ray Rangwala
- This weekend they are going to the orphanage and taking the kids swimming. Keep calendar open for Oct Cruise trip and visit to the orphanage.
- Zainul Abedin
- Congratulated Alex Parajon for the $1,000 contribution to be a Paul Harris Fellow and will get his pin soon
- He also explain that he would like the club members to all contribute $100 each so we can be recognized

- Phil Kubel: son birthday is today and is 7 years old.
- Stephen Ropfogel: Glendale Fire Poker tournament on Saturday August 25th. Sign up asap. He will pay $10 for each member that participates; Also paid another fine for Eric Hamilton
- Ken Riedel: His Daughter got engaged
- Eric Hamilton: Thanked the club and updated us on his health.
- Melinda Sauter: She did a mindfulness training for 12 people and was excited about it.
- Jory Potts: Her 26yr old baby still lives at home and is getting a job interview at the Americana. Wish her luck!
- Ivette Davis: Her friend that had an accident from a prior announcement she had made at our club. Updated her on the person health condition and was flown back to California from Florida by Angels flight.
- Ray Rangwala: Selling $20 tickets for his members association. The winner receives $1,000; purchase them or contact him.
