Craig Tweedy
 
Craig Tweedy, is a police sergeant with the Glendale Police Department. He has been married to his wife, Maria, for the past 20 years and has 17 year old twins, Daniel
and Isabella.
 
Has lived in Glendale for the past 20 years and has worked for the Glendale Police Department for the past 29 years.

Throughout his career, he worked 15 years in various investigative assignments to include, retail fraud, burglary/auto theft, vice/narcotics, robbery/homicide and a field training officer.

In 2010, Craig was promoted to sergeant and supervised the patrol officers in the field throughout the city. In 2013, he transferred to the Traffic Bureau where he became a Traffic Motorcycle Sergeant supervising motor officers.

In 2015, Craig received "Officer of the Year" from the Montrose/Verdugo City Chamber of Commerce. For the past 3 years, he has have been a grant committee board member for the Dignity Health Glendale Memorial Hospital funding local community organizations.

Given his work history for the City of Glendale, living in this community and his children attending the Glendale schools since grade school, he is honored to be a part of the Glendale Sunrise Rotary to continue serving and to give back to our community.
