GSR helps vaccinate 500 children in Kenya
Earlier this year under the guidance of then President Eric Hamilton and then International Chair Ian O'Dwyer, the GSR club donated $1000 to the Alabaster Mobile Clinic to supply a vaccine cooler and vaccines to be used in their health program in Kenya. Below is a great note from the director of the clinic Shannon Fernando. We look forward to having Shannon come to the club and tell us all about the success of the program.

Hi Mr. Hamilton and all at Glendale Sunrise Rotary club,
Hope this email finds you well! Myself and my team just returned from Kenya last night. The trip was a huge success and the vaccine cooler performed perfectly allowing us to vaccinate 500 children!
As you requested, I would like to come and present the results of our trip and show you pictures of the cooler in use, etc.
It would be best if I have about one month to collate all the pictures and prepare all the necessary stats. If possible, it would be great if I could be put on to speak on a Friday in October or after.
Please let me know if that would work. And thank you again for this incredible partnership!
Best,
Shannon Fernando
