Jeffrey Scott Parsons
Musical Theatre Guild

After graduating from Brigham Young University in 2006 with a BFA in Music Dance Theatre, Jeffrey moved to Los Angeles to begin working as a professional theatre actor. Over the past decade, he has established himself as a true triple threat in Southern California, singing, dancing, and acting in roles like Bobby Child in CRAZY FOR YOU (San Diego Musical Theatre and Moonlight Amphitheatre), Phil Davis in WHITE CHRISTMAS (Musical Theatre West and San Diego Musical Theatre), and Riff in WEST SIDE STORY (Performance Riverside). As the Emcee in CABARET (Welk Resort) he was nominated by the San Diego Critics Circle for Best Leading Performance. His one man show COMFY was awarded the 2018 Billy Barnes Award for Best Cabaret Performance. In addition, from 2013 to 2019, he was employed by the Walt Disney Company as a singer/dancer at their California parks.

In 2013, Jeffrey became a member of Musical Theatre Guild, and in 2015, he began efforts to expand their education outreach in connection to their season of one night only staged events. By cultivating relationships with educators all around the greater LA area, Jeffrey visits hundreds of students in their classrooms each year, introducing many to the musical theatre art form for very first time. These visits then become invitations as Musical Theatre Guild provides those same students with free tickets to attend their seldom seen musical productions at the historic Alex Theatre in downtown Glendale, CA.
